Hi there! I’m Amanda.
I’m a writer, researcher, historian and goat tamer with a particular interest in social, consumer and rural life. My work largely centres on the ‘good life’ and what that means for sustainability.
I’m also interested in interiors, animals, magazines (new and old), upcycling, downshifting, Britpop, Philly soul and ‘60’s garage punk. I’m a single mum, a crazy cat lady and a drinker of tea. Basically, I want to have an abundant life without hurting the planet.
I work from home in West Gippsland, East of Melbourne, with my extended family, a menagerie of pets, dairy goats, a Boer goat named Pete ‘son of Pete’.
